The therapists giving Chiropractor Lower Back Pain treatment suggest that there are lots of reasons that cause pain in the lower back region of the body.  Here are some of them. Take a look.

Lumber Strain

Lumber strain is among the most common causes that manifest in the form of acute lower back pain. The fundamental cause behind lumber strain is accidental stretching or tearing of the ligaments, tendons, soft tissues and muscles or the lower back region.
This stretching occurs due to overuse of the lumber area or trauma, and is usually common among the middle aged population of people around 40 years of age.

Nerve Irritation

Irritation of the nerves of the lumbar spine area is also associated with lower back pain.  This irritation generates at the roots of the spinal cord and travels upwards towards the surface of the skin.

The common factor that usually causes nerve irritation is application of sudden mechanical pressure on the bones or tissues around the roots of the spinal cord. However, certain viral diseases that affect the regions around the base of the spinal cord also cause nerve irritation and make patients suffer from lower back pain.

Lumbar Radiculopathy

This is a condition when the nerves of the lumber area are affected due to damage caused on the discs between the vertebrae.  The intensity of lower back pain associated with this disease can range from medium to acute.

There are various reasons why Lumbar radiculopathy can occur. Among the common causes include degeneration of the outer ring of the discs of the vertebrae. Similarly, traumatic injury can also lead to this problem.

Due to the effect of such causes like traumatic injury and degeneration, the outer hard covering of the discs collapse and the soft inner portion gets exposed. Eventually, slightest of sensation makes this softer portion vulnerable.
